Erasing all memory data on the receiver
Note that the erased memory data of the receiver cannot
be retrieved. Make sure of the data you are erasing.

Select [Memory Data Of The Receiver] under [All
Clear] from the [Options] menu.

Click [OK] in the erase confirmation dialog.

Saving database search results

You can save the search results of the CD-ROM frequency
database software as a file.
To start up the database, see "Starting up the CD-ROM
frequency database", page 45.
For operation of the database software, see [Help] in the
database software.

Search in the frequency database.

Name the search result.
By default, the file will be named Output.dbf. The
extension ".dbf" will be added automatically.
Save it in the "Reference" folder in the "Sony
Scanner" folder.

Click [MEMORY] under PREFERENCES in the main
window (or select [Memory Scan Preferences] in the
[Preferences] menu).
The Memory Scan Preferences dialog will appear.
Click the page you wish to save the search results. The
Memory Scan Preferences-Data dialog will appear.

Click [Reference].
The Open dialog will appear.

Select the reference file you have just saved and click
[Open]. The References dialog will appear.

Click the channel number you want to store and click
[OK].
You can choose one or more channels.
Notes
•The selected data is written in the vacant preset channel of the
page. You cannot save the search results if you have chosen more
channels than the vacant preset channels.
•Detection mode for the saved data will be the default, and
DELAY will be on.
•You can only save search results within the range of this
controller (25 - 1300 MHz, excluding the cellular phone band).
•Do not delete or move the "Reference" folder or change its
name.
