EtherNet/IP™ and Modbus TCP/IP Support
The RLX2 handles queries using either EtherNet/IP or Modbus TCP/IP protocols, via an
internal agent module, allowing you to obtain diagnostic and status information about
the RLX2.

Modbus TCP/IP Server Support

A Modbus TCP/IP client can poll the RLX2 radio for status information. The Modbus
TCP/IP server listens to port 502 and port 2000 and handles requests from the port eth0
(Ethernet port) or ppp0 (Point-to-Point Protocol). PPP is a data link layer protocol used
to establish a connection between two nodes.
The module supports up to five concurrent Modbus TCP/IP client connections to read
radio diagnostics.
