Malfunction: Pruning shears suddenly stop operating
Check component
Testing the Battery
Check all plugs
Testing Connecting Cord
Move cordless pruning shears in all directions
and operate the trigger at the same time to
test function

Battery jams when being fitted in battery

Battery is not being charged even though
LED on charger glows green

Cause
Insufficient state of charge
(1 LED on battery flashes green)
Battery too hot / too cold
(1 LED on battery glows red)
Malfunction
(4 LEDs on battery flash red)
Moisture in power tool's electronics or
battery
No electrical contact
Loose contact in connecting cord
Cause
Cutting blade dull
Too much play between cutting and anvil
blades
Cutting blade worn
Guides / contacts dirty
Battery too hot / too cold
(1 LED on battery glows red)
Remedy
Charging the Battery
Allow battery to cool down / allow battery
to warm up slowly at temperatures of
about 15°C - 20°C (60°F - 70°F)
Remove the battery and refit it
Allow power tool electronics or battery to
dry
Check connections – see Malfunction:
Cordless pruning shears do not run after
switch-on
Have connecting cord checked by your

servicing dealer.
Remedy
Sharpening the cutting blade
Adjust play between cutting and anvil
blades
Replacing the Cutting Blade
Use a blunt tool to carefully clean the
guides / contacts.
Allow battery to cool down / allow battery
to warm up slowly at temperatures of
about 15°C - 20°C (60°F - 70°F)
Operate charger only in closed, dry
rooms at ambient temperatures of 5°C to
40°C (40°F to 104°F)
