Replacing an NVRAM adapter in an N7000 series system (Data ONTAP

The NVRAM PCI adapter provides nonvolatile memory to your system and acts as
a memory buffer. It also serves as the interconnect adapter in an HA pair . To
replace the adapter, you must select the correct procedure for your system.

Replacing an NVRAM adapter in a system operating in 7-Mode
