∫ Connecting to the AV3 input terminals on the
front of the unit

If the audio output of the other equipment is monaural, connect to L/
MONO. (Both left and right channels are recorded when connected
through L/MONO.)

By using the S video cable instead of the yellow video cable you may make recordings of higher picture quality.

∫ Recording audio from discs or television
broadcasts to a tape deck
1 Discs: Press [DVD] to select "DVD/CD" as the source.
Television broadcasts: Press [W X CH] to select the channel.
2 Start recording and play.
Refer to the manual of the other unit for details.
[Note]
FM/AM broadcasts and audio from the OPTICAL IN terminal are not
output through the AUDIO OUT terminals.
∫ To playback audio from a tape deck, etc.,
through this unit's speakers
1 Press [DVD] to select "DVD/CD" as the source.
2 Press [INPUT SELECT] to select "A4".
3 Start play.
