Changing the remote control code

Panasonic DVD players and recorders use the same remote control
system so they may respond unintentionally to a command from this
remote control. Change the code on this unit and its remote control
(the two must match) if you place equipment close together.
≥Use "DVD 1", the factory set code, under normal circumstances.
While SETUP menu screen is displayed ( page 54)

Press [3, 4] to select "Settings" and
press [1].

Press [3, 4] to select "Remote " and
press [ENTER].

Press [3, 4] to select the "DVD 1",
"DVD 2" or "DVD 3" and press
[ENTER].
The remote control code on the unit has been set.

While pressing [ENTER] on the remote
control, press and hold for about 2
seconds the numbered button ([1], [2]
or [3]) corresponding to the code you
selected in step 3.
The remote control code on the remote control has been set.
The following display appears when you use a remote control with a
different code.
The unit's remote control code
Change its code to match the unit's ( step 4).
