Calibrating volumes

A direct relationship exists between the rotation of the motor
shaft (P-axis) and the vertical movement of the pipet piston
(i.e., volume aspirated or dispensed). Volume calibration
defines the number of units that the P-axis motor must move
to accurately deliver a given volume of liquid.
Volume calibration is performed using the "Volume
calibration" wizard. During installation, the preinstalled
settings can be set up using "Option 1" from the "Volume
calibration" wizard.
Before starting the first run on a newly installed QIAcube HT
volume calibration has to be done. If no volume calibration
has been done an error is shown at start of a run.
