The HST transmits frame relay traffic on the circuit.
Transmitting
The HST can transmit and receive frame relay frames at rates
of 2 Mbps on the E1 interface or 64 Kbps for individual
traffic on
timeslots.

E1 circuits

To transmit frame relay traffic on an E1 circuit
1 Access the test configuration menus for E1 testing. See
2 Review the Summary Settings.
HST-3000 Frame Relay Testing User's Guide
– Press the 1 key.
– Press the Action soft key and then press the 1 key.
This inserts the number and type of error that you speci-
fied on the Error Settings menu.
The error is inserted into the Primary Tx (transmit) path.
– Press the 3 key.
– Press the Action soft key and then press the 2 key.
This enables or disables the type of alarm that you speci-
fied on the Error Settings menu.
The alarm is inserted into the Primary Tx (transmit) path.

The Summary Settings screen appears. This screen
provides the most important settings for the test.
If the settings are appropriate for your test, press the
Home key and proceed to
