Applicability:
The procedures on this card apply to ST70+ Pilot Controllers used with Raymarine SeaTalk and SeaTalk
Introduction
You can use track mode to automati-
cally steer your boat along a route
plotted on your chartplotter.
Important
To return to manual steering at any time, press
Using track mode
With your autopilot operating in Auto mode (see Card 8):.
TRACK
1. Press
to enter Track mode.
A warning tone sounds and a warning screen is dis-
played.
2. Check that it is safe for your boat to turn onto the new
course, i. e. the course to the next waypoint.
3. If it is safe to apply the new course, press
The autopilot turns your boat onto the new course and
the display shows the heading required for the correct
track.
Waypoint arrival
As you approach each waypoint, an alarm sounds and a
Track mode popup is displayed:
1. Check that it is safe to turn onto the new heading, i. e. the
course to the next waypoint. If it is NOT safe, press
CEL
to return to the previous screen and resume the previ-
ous course.
2. If it is safe to apply the new course, press
accept the new heading and proceed to the next waypoint.
Skipping a waypoint
If you want to bypass a waypoint when running in Track mode, hold down
1 second.
Leaving Track mode
To leave Track mode, use your Pilot Controller keypad. Press either:
AUTO
to return to Auto mode (autopilot control), or.
STANDBY
to return to Standby mode (manual steering).
Using autopilot Track mode
They do NOT apply to ST70+ Instruments.
