Fault Diagnosis - Mira Elite ST Installation Manual

The trouble shooting information below gives details on probable causes and
remedies should difficulties be encountered whilst the shower is in operation.
Warning! There are no user serviceable components beneath the cover of the
shower. Only a competent tradesperson should remove the front cover!

Probable Cause
Electrical supply isolated at
double pole switch.
Fuse blown or MCB/RCD
tripped indicating possible
electrical fault.
Hose or handset sprayplate
blocked.
I n c o m i n g w a t e r s u p p l y
isolating valve turned down
or off.
Temperature knob or heater
setting too high.
Handset sprayplate blocked.
Due to a rise in the stored
water temperature, the power
rating may be too high.
Handset sprayplate blocked.
Cistern has run out of water.
Internal pump unit faulty or
thermal trip has operated.
Flow Valve faulty
Flow Valve, Solenoid or Start/

Possible Remedy
Switch on electrical supply
via pullcord or wall mounted
switch.
Renew the fuse or reset the
MCB/RCD. If fault persists,
contact your installer.
Remove and clean.
Turn isolating valve to fully
on position.
