9 Load Control
Deleting a Time Period
You cannot delete all the time periods for a load. At least one time period must always be
configured for each load. If no radio-controlled socket is assigned to the load, however, the time
period has no effect on the operation of the load.
Procedure:
1. Select Configuration > Load Overview and Planning in the page and menu selection.
2. In the line of the desired load, in the column Configuration, select
3. In the tab Name of Load, select the button [Edit].
4. Select [Configure time period].
5. Select for the desired time period and confirm the security prompt.
6. Select [Accept].
7. Select [Save].

Controlling Loads via the Radio-Controlled Socket

9.4.1

Controlling Program-Controlled Loads

This section describes how to control program-controlled loads via radio-controlled sockets, using a
washing machine as an example load.
Procedure:
1. Ensure that the load can be controlled by the radio-controlled socket:
• Ask the load manufacturer whether the load is suitable for control via a radio-controlled
socket or timer.
2. Connect the washing machine to the radio-controlled socket.
3. Configure the washing machine as a load (see Section 9.3, page 79).
4. Configure the radio-controlled socket to which the washing machine is connected (see
Section 9.2, page 75) and assign it to the load Washing machine (see Section 9.2.4,
page 76).
5. Set the operating mode of the radio-controlled socket to On (see Section 9.2.6.1, page 77).
Voltage supply to the washing machine is now enabled.
6. Load the washing machine with laundry.
7. Set the desired program on the washing machine.
