Adjustment and operation | Maintenance

Base plate adjustment
Loosen the adjustment screw.
Set the plate to the angle required (0-45°).
Tighten the adjustment screw.
Split wedge adjustment
Open the hinged guard and hold firmly.
Loosen the screws.
Set the split wedge and tighten the screws.
Prior to machine startup
Before switching on, make sure that the blade is correctly installed, that moving parts are easy-
running and that all adjustment screws are tight.
ON/OFF trigger switch
The machine is equipped with the two-action safety switch: the machine can only be started up
if the handle is firmly grasped and both buttons are depressed. When the handle is released, the
machine turns off automatically, preventing any unintentional operation.
Carbon brush replacement
WARNING! If a strong brush fire is being observed, stop the machine immediately and turn
to your nearest Carrefour service facility.
Dust exhaust
7. MAINTENANCE
Keep the ventilation slits in the motor housing unblocked and clean.
If you find your saw blade is damaged or excessively worn, replace it with a new one
immediately.
Attach the suction pipe of the domestic vacuum cleaner to the suction hole of
the circular saw, if necessary, using a suitable adapter.
