- ensure that the diameter, thickness and other characteristics of the blade are suitable for
the tool;
- ensure that the blade is suitable for the spindle speed of the tool.
Do not use blades the body of which is thicker or the set of which is smaller than the
thickness of the riving knife.
Ensure that the riving knife is adjusted so that:
the distance between the riving knife and the toothed rim of the saw blade
is not more than 5 mm
- the toothed rim dose not extend more than 5 mm beyond the lower edge of the riving knife.
- Always use the riving knife except when plunging in the middle of the work piece.
Wear adequate hearing protection when using the tool.
5. APPLICATION
The circular saw and the saw blade that comes with it is suitable for making straight cuts in
wood. When used with proper blades, it can also be used to cut: plastics, thermo-plastics and
duroplastics, laminated plastics, high-resistance foam boards, rock wool boards, cemented
particle board, porous concrete and nonferrous metals. All other applications are expressly ruled
out.
6. ADJUSTMENT AND OPERATION
Getting started with manual circular saw
The hinged guard is pushed back automatically by the work piece.
Push the circular saw forward evenly and smoothly.
The piece cut off should be on the right-hand side of the saw so that the wide part of the base
plate is supported over its whole area.
Parallel edge guide
Odšroubujte seřizovací šroub.
Set the parallel edge guide according to the scale; do not forget the width of the blade.
WARNING! Make a test cut with a piece of waste wood.
Cutting depth adjustment
Loosen the adjustment screw.
Swing the base plate downwards.
Adjust the cutting depth using the scale. The top line must project approx. 2mm of the wood.
