SRM, the BMK-8i mobile welding device enables problem-free welding, even in constrained positions. The BMK-8i works on the basis of a compact inverter current source and delivers a constant welding current up to 300 A with extremely short welding times. The rectified mains voltage is converted into a high frequency voltage with a frequency of 75 kHz by an Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor-based (IGBT-based) inverter.
