4.1. Framing
The framing dimensions are shown
in figure 4.

A non-combustible hearth is
not necessary in front of this
appliance.
•
Note that the unit is installed at
the framing stage and fixed to
the framing using the support
angles. Wall finish (cement
board above) is then installed
over the support angels up to
the black frame on the unit.
•
Be aware of the area 9" x 35½"
(23cm x 90.2cm) immediately
above the opening area shown
hatched in figure 4 which must
be constructed with non-
combustible materials (such as
cement board).
