QoS settings

With C–package step III and higher you can manage various TOS byte settings for voice
signals and signalling data. The TOS bytes can be used by network components for prioriti-
sed forwarding of RTP packages.
The settings correspond to RFC2598 for voice signals and RFC2697 for signalling. The
default hex values for voice signals are "10" (binary: 0010000) and for signalling "1A"
(binary: 0011010).
Open audit menu.
Scroll to the QOS settings menu item. Confirm selection.
Scroll to the TOS for signaling or TOS for voice channel menu item. Confirm se-
lection.
Scroll to the bit you want to change, e.g. Bit 3 . Confirm selection.
Scroll to the desired setting, e.g. ein . Confirm selection.
If necessary, scroll to the next bit you want to change. Repeat the above steps to
make the change.
The system will now use the new value for the TOS byte.
Note: The previous QoS setting "TOS/DiffServ parameters" is no longer used with
C–package step III and higher.
