Link Interfaces

2.29.5.1 AEI interface
You can connect second receiver, headset, ext. hands–free device, speech recording unit,
DSS module or switch–contact module to the AEI interface (AEI = Additional Equipment
Interface).
A list of accessories can be found in the appendix (→ p. 264).
The AEI X interface is responsible for the transmission of analogue signals and the AEI Y
interface for the transmission of digital signals.

Only connect equipment with potential isolation that complies with the criteria of a basic in-
sulation in accordance with EN60950.
