CANCELLING AUTOMATIC OPERATION
A utoma tic

cancelled by the

ing methods:
1. Slightly depressing

e brake
pedal.
2.
Pressing the "
OFF" switch on
the instrument pa
nel
co ntrol.
The speed
control
is also ca
ncell
ed each time the
igni
tion switc
h

turned
off.
Automatic operation can be
resum ed
at any time by

POWER DOOR LOCKS
If
the
door
inside locks are vacuum powe red, they may be ope rated
either ma
nu
ally or by the doo
r
lock
control
knob, located on eac
h
front
door
j ust
below the sw ing type pul

handles.
These are spring·
loaded togg le controls whic
h
return to the neutral pos ition immed iately
after they are re leased. Push the control downward to lock t he doors
and upward to unlock
t
hem. Enough
vacuu
m is held i
n
reserve to
operate the locks several times afte
r
the engine is shut
off.
Either door
control w
ill
lock or unlock
atl
doors.
