• Tu rn the " FAN" knob to highest fa n speed.
• A fter t he w indshield is defrosted, adjust t he ai r temperature as
desired.
NOTE: During "DEFROST" operat ion, a portion of the
heated ai r is d i rected through the heater outlets for
passenger comfort.
• Adju st the fa n speed by rotati ng the large k nob to the fan speed
desired.
NOTE: There is purposel y some air flow through the
defroster outlets when the heat button is depressed.
TO DEFOG THE WINDSHIELD
Use same procedure as for defrosting. As the w indshield beg ins to
clea r, th e " TE M P" co ntro l ca n be turned toward the "COOLER"
position to red uce t he air temperature to a more comfortable level.
Fan speed ca n be redu ced
if
desired .

TEMPERATURE CONTROL
The coo led air is discharged t hroug h the fo ur adjustable registers
i n the i nstrumen t panel and two additiona l outl ets under t he instru-
ment panel whic h cool the floor area. The cold air fl ow from the floor
discha rge outlets ca n be regulated by a slide control at each port outlet.
NOTE: The two instrument panel registers have a shut -off
knob which can limit or completely shut-off the cold ai r
flow from these registers .
