RADIO (AM)
The
radio has

ive push
buttons

station selection. Other stations
may be
selected by the manual
tun
ing
knob at the right lower
side
of
the
ra dio
dia
l.
A
ring·type
speaker fader control is located
back
of the
manual
tun
ing
kno
b.
A combination on·off and "VOLUME" control
knob
is
located
at
the right
upper
side
of the
dial.
A ring
type
"TONE"
control is
loca
ted behind
the volume control
knob.
ADJUST THE PUSH BUTTON AS FOLLOWS:
Turn
the
ra
dio on.

Pull
the
selector button
stra ight
out until
it
stops. Tune
in
the
station you want
wit
h
the manual tuning knob at the right side
of
the
radio
dial.
After
the
station
is
clea rly tuned in,
push
the
selector
button
straight in
until
it
stops,
t
hen release
it.
Repeat
Steps
2
and
3 for
the
remaini
ng
station selector
buttons.
NOTE: The antenna must be extended to the limit of its
travel for best AM reception
.
AM-FM RADIO
Station selection
is
controlled
by
f
ive push
butto
ns,
a manua

tuning
contro
l
and
"TOWN"
and "eNTRY" se lector switches. A band selector
bar
is
provided

n
the
dial
for t
he
selection of either the AM or
FM
band. The f
ive push buttons can be preset to select five AM
stations
or five FM stations or any combination

reof.

"VOLUME"
control

located
to
the
upper
right of
the
dial. A

TONE
" control
is located beh ind

volume control
knob.
The
combination tuning and
speaker

directly
below the volume-tone controls.
The
ring
type
fader

to
rear
speaker volume is

behind the
tuning
control
knob
.
BAND
SELECT
ION AND IDENTIFICATION-A
slide

AM

FM
selector
switch is
located
above
t
he
push
buttons.
Slide the bar
to
the
rig ht for FM
reception and
to the left
for AM operation.
The
band
selected
is
identified
by the letters "FM" or '"AM'".
