Checking the static sag of the shock absorber
(All 250/300 models)
–
Measure the distance – as vertical as possible – between the rear axle and a
fixed point, for example, a mark on the rear fairing.
–
Note down the value as dimension

Finishing work
–
Remove the motorcycle from the lift stand. (

–
Measure distance
–
Hold the motorcycle upright with the aid of an assistant.
–
Again measure the distance between the rear axle and marking SAG on the rear
fender using the sag gauge.
–
Note down the value as dimension
–
Check the static sag.
