Press the reset button with the unfolded paper clip until the MiFi M100 powers off (about
five or six seconds). Your MiFi M100 will restart automatically.
WARNING!
Resetting the MiFi M100 overwrites ALL existing settings, including the Wi-Fi
name (SSID) and Wi-Fi password. If the Wi-Fi settings had been changed from the defaults,
connected devices will be dropped and you will need to reconnect them using the reinstated
default settings.
No service is available.
Reorient your device. If you are inside a building or near a structure that might be blocking
the signal, change the position or location of the device. For example, try moving your device
close to a window.
You are outside your coverage area, or there may be a problem with your account. Check
with your wireless service provider.
The MiFi M100 LEDs do not light when the power button is pressed.
If the MiFi M100 is in Stealth mode, the LEDs do not light. To determine whether the device is in
Stealth mode:
Go to the MiFi M100 Web UI.
Select Settings from the menu panel.
Select the Device Settings tab.
Under LED Preferences, check the Stealth Mode check box. If it is selected, deselect it to exit
Stealth mode.
If the MiFi M100 in not in Stealth mode and the LEDs are still not lit:
Make sure the battery is properly seated in the device.
Make sure the battery is fully charged. Plug in the AC charger for at least 3 hours.
I forgot my Wi-Fi Password.
Your initial Wi-Fi password is printed on a sticker on the inside of the battery compartment. You can
also view your Wi-Fi password in the MiFi M100 Home Dashboard or MiFi App Dashboard:
In the MiFi App Dashboard, select Show Password in the top-right corner of the screen.
In the MiFi Home Dashboard, select Show next to Wi-Fi Network Password field.
I forgot my MiFi M100 Admin password.
Your initial Admin password is printed on a sticker on the inside of the battery compartment. If you
changed your Admin password and cannot remember it, you will have to reset the MiFi M100 to
factory settings:
In the MiFi M100 Web UI, select Settings from the menu panel.
