To define a custom application for port filtering:

Select Add a Custom Application.

In the Start Port field, enter the beginning of the range of port numbers used by outgoing
traffic for the custom application.

In the End Port field, enter the end of the range of port numbers. If the port is a single port
instead of a range, type the same value for both the Start Port and the End Port.

Select the protocol (TCP, UDP, or both) used by the port range from the Protocol dropdown
menu.

Use the On check box for the application to specify whether or not to allow the application
to access the Internet.

Select Save Changes to activate and save any changes made to the custom applications.
To delete a custom application:

Select the Delete check box next to the custom application.

Select Save Changes.
➌
Select the Port Filtering tab again to remove the deleted custom application from the
screen.
