DEVICE SETTINGS

Before connecting to the SmartGen Micro encoder, software must be configured for the proper

communications mode. By pressing the 'Settings' button, situated in bottom-left corner, the

Settings dialog will appear:

From here, the appropriate connection may be selected regarding to the hardware configuration

of the SmartGen Micro device. By pressing the 'Connect' button, the Software will attempt to

connect to SmartGen Micro device and read its current configuration:

ATTENTION: In the bottom-right part of the screen is visible the status of the connection. Any

success or failure will be indicated there.
