Connecting the base
station to the PABX
The following settings are only necessary
when your PABX requires them; see the PABX
user guide.
You cannot send or receive SMS messages
on PABXs that do not support Calling Line
Identification.

Your phone is preset at the factory for oper-
ation on the main connection. For operation
on a PABX, you may have to change this
value. Please refer to the user guide for your
PABX.

80 ms, 100 ms, 120 ms, 180 ms,

Saving an access code
(outside line code)
Precondition: You may have to enter an
access code for external calls in your PABX,
e.g. "0".

Enter or change access code,
max. 3 digits.

Save the changes.
If an access code has been saved:
u
The access code is prefixed automatically
when you select from the following lists:
numbers of the SMS centres, calls list or
answering machine list.
u
The access code must be entered when
dialling manually and when manually
entering directory, emergency/shortcut
numbers and SMS centre numbers.
u
If you copy the recipient's number from
the directory when sending an SMS, you
have to delete the access code.
u
An existing access code is deleted
using X.
