• Use the appliance in the working position only at places with no risk of turning over and in
sufficient distance from heat sources (e.g. heater, electric/gas stove, cooker, etc.) and wet
surfaces (e.g. sinks, wash basins, etc.).
• It is not permissible to adjust the surface of the appliance in any way (e.g. by means of self-
adhesive wall-paper, foil, etc.)!
• Before preparation, remove possible packages from food (e.g. paper, a PE bag, etc.).
• Do not use the appliance for heating of rooms!
• Do not use the appliance with a program, timer or any other component which switches
the appliance automatically on or off as there is a risk of fire if the appliance is covered or
incorrectly placed.
• Make sure that hair or loose clothes do not get into the accessories to avoid risk of them
tangling into the pressing cone.
• Do not exceed the maximum continuous operating time of the appliance, it´s 3 min.
• The appliance is equipped with safety fuse which disconnects current supply incase of engine
overloading. If it occurs, unplug the appliance and let the appliance getcooled.
• Do not switch on the appliance without ingredients put in!
• Use the appliance with accessories intended for this type only. Using another appliance can
represent a risk for the operator.
• Do not insert the appliance into any body holes.
• Never put fingers in the filling hole and do not use a fork, a knife, a spatula, a spoon
etc. for the same. Use only the provided pusher for this purpose.
• Proper mounting of the bowl, the bowl lid, the blender and the citrus press will release safety
locks and you can switch the appliance on. The appliance cannot be started without the
mounted bowl, lid, blender or citrus press.
• Do not use safety locks controlled by the bowl lid and the citrus press and the blender for
switching off the appliance!
• Remove the blade protector from the knife before use.
• For safety reasons, the work adapters cannot be replaced when the drive unit is in operation.
• Before you remove the lid or the blender bowl, let the rotating parts stop completely.
• When mounting or removing the bowl, do not apply much pressure on the bowl handle.
• Do not lift and carry the food processer using the bowl handle, but always use the moulded
holes in the bottom of the drive unit!
• Do not process food at temperature exceeding about 80 °C (176 °F). When blending hot
liquids, remove plug E3 from the blender lid.
• When mixing or blending liquids, never put in bigger amount than specified on the bowl.
• If the processed food starts to stick to the appliance (e.g. on knives, graters), switch off the
appliance and clean the accessories carefully (e.g. using a spatula).
• Make sure that the power cord does not get in contact with the rotating part of the appliance.
• Check the condition of the power cord of the appliance regularly.
• The power cord must not be damaged with sharp or hot objects, open fire, it must not be sunk
into water or bent over sharp edges. Never put it on hot surfaces or do not let it hang over the
edge of a table or work tables. Hitting, stumbling or pulling the power cord e.g. by children can
result in tilting over or drawing the appliance down and serious injury!
• If you need to use an extension cord, it has to be uncorrupted and it has to comply with the
valid standards.
• Use the appliance only with original accessories from the manufacturer.
• Use the appliance only for the purpose it is intended for as specified in this manual. Never
use the appliance for any other purpose.
• The manufacturer is not responsible for damage and injuries caused by improper use of the
appliance and the accessories (e.g. food deterioration, injury, cutting) and its guarantee for
the appliance does not apply in situations when the safety warnings above are not complied
with.
