5.32. OEMSEAddSendTargetPortal

Command
OEMSEAddSendTargetPortal
Description
This command creates a SendTarget Portal. The iSCSI Sendtargets mechanism is used to
discover a target name using the IP address and port number of the target. Specify the IP
address of the target portal as the first required option, and the target port number as the
second. Example: OEMSEAddSendTargetPortal -OEMSEparams
IPAddress="172.40.2.1",PortNum="3205". After the Sendtarget portal is created, cd into
the newly created Sendtargetportal group and issue the command:
OEMSEDiscoverTargets. This will issue the Discovery login. If successful, the target will
return it's iSCSI name, allowing login just as with a manually configured target.
Syntax
OEMSEAddSendTargetPortal [common_options] -OEMSEparams IPAddress="< value
>",PortNumber="< value >",[PortIdentifier="< value >"] [SM-CLP-target]
Options
[common_options]
Parameter Description
Optional input that indicates the SM-CLP target group for the given command. This
SM-CLP-target
overrides the current group. ".." indcates parent group. "/" indicates root group.
- takes in additional parameters as arguments as listed below in the Parameters table
OEMSEParams of this section. The parameters has to be entered in a key=value format.
