5.31. OEMSEDiscoverTargets

Command
OEMSEDiscoverTargets
Description
The command is used to initiate discovery sessions. A discovery login will be sent to the IP
address and port number specified in the OEMSEAddSendTargetPortal command. If
discovery is successful, the iSCSI target will return its iSCSI name, allowing login just as a
manually configured target. To login to the target, issue the command OEMSELogin in the
newly created Target group. This group is found in the /LogicalHBA(x)/iSCSI group.
Syntax
OEMSEDiscoverTargets [common_options] [SM-CLP-target]
Options
[common_options]
Parameter Description
SM-CLP- Optional input that indicates the SM-CLP target group for the given command. This
target overrides the current group. ".." indcates parent group. "/" indicates root group.

Common Error Messages
The BladeEngine iSCSI initiator TCP/IP settings are not configured. Please configure the
TCP/IP settings before issuing this command.,
