•
Interactive
CLI will enter into an interactive mode, if neither CLI command nor script file is
provided as an option. CLI will accept CLI commands and execute them in the
interactive shell. CLI will remain in interactive mode until an exit command is
given. CLI supports tab completions and command history in the interactive mode
only if readline module (comes optionally with Python) is installed.
Example:
CLI
will enter interactive mode.
The Command Line Interface (CLI) for BladeEngine follows the specificiations as defined in
SM-CLP Standard 1.0a.
All the CLI commands and options are case insensitive
Parameters that are decimal numbers will also accept hexadecimal values with a '0x' as
prefix. For ex: 0xa for decimal 10
Quoted strings are treated as single parameter for the commands that accept character
inputs regardless of the space in the string.
For string parameters quotes are optional, unless there is a space in the string. Space is
used as a string termination, unless it is within quotes.
