ping – send ICMP echo requests to target host
SYNOPSIS
ping [OPTIONS] host
DESCRIPTION
Ping sends out ICMP echo requests over the ICMP protocol to a host on the network. The default number
of the ICMP echo request packets ping sends out is four. To continually send out packets without stop, use
"-c 0" option.

DESCRIPTION

Force IP or IPv6 name resolution
Send only CNT pings
Send SIZE data bytes in packets (default:56)
Use interface or IP address as source
Seconds to wait for the first response (default:10)
(after all -c CNT packets are sent)
Seconds until ping exits (default:infinite)
(can exit earlier with -c CNT)
Quiet, only displays output at start
and when finished
Wait for response time
Chage DSCP value
