12. FIELD REPLACEABLE WARRANTY CARDS
If an HDMI input, HDMI/HDBaseT output, IR only input or control card is determined to be inoperable please
notify Tech Support (section 14). If an input or output card is deemed defective, follow the instructions below.
Note: Please review all installation instructions and procedures prior to beginning this process.
Disconnect power from the rear of the matrix switcher.
•
Document every device connected to the defective card, then disconnect all connected devices from that card.
•
Locate the anti-static grounding strap provided with the replacement card. Remove the alligator clip. Tighten
the wrist strap so that the metal makes contact with your skin. It is necessary to remain connected in this way
for the entirety of the procedure to ensure the safety of the matrix switcher and the replacement card.
•
Insert the banana plug on the anti-static grounding strap into the green grounding jack located in the rear
upper left corner of the matrix switcher.
