Dialling with a configurable key
You want to call someone whose phone number is stored under a configurable key.

Dialling with the line key
You want to make a call via a Line key.
Aastra 6730i/31i:
You can make a call via a Line key. Your Aastra SIP phone is
equipped with two permanently set line keys with LEDs. Your system administrator
can set up four additional line keys (making a total of six). Press a line key directly or
select a line by pressing the horizontal navigation key to the right or left. The display
will show the line number (1, 2, 3 etc.) and the line state (free, busy).
Aastra 6753i:
You can make a call via a Line key. Your Aastra SIP phone is equipped
with three permanently set line keys with LEDs. Your system administrator can set up
six additional line keys (making a total of nine). Press a line key directly or select a line
by pressing the horizontal navigation key to the right or left. The display will show the
line number (1, 2, 3 etc.) and the line state (free, busy).
You can switch the line easily by pressing the key. The active call is automatically
parked locally.

1. Pick up the handset.
2. Press the desired configurable key.

Press the desired configurable key.

Press a free Line key.
