3.2.1 Exterior Check

START
There should be no damage, deformation or cracking due to external force.
Upper Case Unit
The Lower Case should be installed correctly.
The remote signal receiver should be clean and free from foreign materials.
The Cover Lens Holder should be correctly installed.
Cover Lens Holder
The Upper Case should be correctly installed.
Control Panel
No buttons should be stuck down.
The Focus Ring should turn smoothly.
Projection Lens Unit
The Lens should be clean and free from damage.
There should be no damage, deformation or cracking due to external forces.
Lower Case
The vent hole should be clean and free from any foreign materials.
The Air Filter should be installed correctly.
Air Filter
Remove the Air Filter from the Lower Case to check that it is clean
The Intake Fan inside the Air Filter frame should be clean and free from foreign
materials.
The Lamp Lid should be securely attached to the Lower Case.
Lamp Lid Unit
The Lamp Lid Detection Switch latch should be free from damage.
The plastic frame should be free from any deformation, damage or discoloration
Lamp Assy
from heat. Remove the lamp inner unit to check.
The lamp connector should be free from discoloration.
The white glass surface of the lamp should be clean.
Can the projection height be adjusted with the Foot Unit?
Adjustable Front Foot Unit
The connectors and terminals should not be bent or discolored.
Interface Connectors
The connectors and terminals should be free from foreign materials.
The AC connectors should not be discolored.
AC Inlet
The AC source socket should be free from damage.
