If the new values are correct and the following message is displayed, proceed to step 7.
Otherwise, proceed to step 8.
Insert Password Disk if necessary
The above message appears when the Power On Password option has been enabled.

Insert a diskette into drive A. This diskette will become the Password Service Disk that can
be used to start up the computer without entering the password.
NOTE: The contents of the diskette will be erased when the Password Service Disk is cre-
ated. You can insert either a formatted or unformatted diskette for this procedure.

Press Y to save the SETUP changes. If you inserted a diskette for the Password Service
Disk procedure, the SETUP function will now create the disk. When the procedure is com-
pleted, the following message is displayed.
Remove the Password Service Disk and Press any key.
Remove the Password Service Disk and press any key. The diskette should be stored in a
safe place.

The new SETUP values are now recorded into CMOS memory and the system reboots.

3.22.4 SETUP Option Descriptions

The SETUP screen is divided into functionally-related groups. This section describes each group
and the available options.
MEMORY
This group of options displays the configuration of the memory installed in the T3300SL. Certain
options allow you to configure the memory you install in the T3300SL.
TOTAL
This field displays the total amount of memory installed which is automatically calculated by
the computer.
BASE
This field displays the amount of base (conventional) memory, 640KB, which is automati-
cally calculated by the computer.
