Removal
1. Remove tailgate stopper assembly.
D Remove the five bolts.

Tailgate Stopper Assembly
1. Loosen the striker screws (3) (or bolts (2)).
2. Tap the striker (1) with a plastic hammer to align.
3. Tighten the striker screws (3) (or bolts (2)).
Screw Torque : 15 N m (11 lb ft)
Bolt Torque : 12 N m (104 lb in)

(3) Tailgate Stopper Assembly
Installation
To install, follow the removal steps in the reverse order,
nothing the following points.
1. Tighten the fixing bolts to the specified torque.
Torque : 12 N m (104 lb in)
2. Apply chassis grease to the stopper moving surface.
