The computer processing and memory features built into the 4635 LPS eliminate the need for a host computer to store and manage forms, fonts, logos, and other document resources. Data is printed at a rate of up to 135 pages per minute, or up to 154 pages per minute with the optional 7X10 input enablement kit.

• Printer. System controller components The system controller is the part of the 4635 LPS that allows you to interact with the printer. Use the personal computer user interface (PC UI) to enter commands and select options which control the operation of the printer. The parts of the system controller are shown in figure 1-2 below.
Page 19 System disk One 651 MB unformatted system disk is provided with the 4635 system controller as a standard feature. The system disk is located inside the system controller and stores the LPS operating system software, fonts, forms, and general user files.
