5) Screw the magneto extractor onto the rotor.
Special tool:
Ref. 2533002000198
6) Immobilise the magneto extractor and turn the pushing bolt un-
til the rotor comes free.

REMOVING THE ARMATURE

1) Remove the three securing bolts (1) from the
stator plate and armature assembly (2).
2) Remove the stator plate and armature assembly.
N.B.:
Tap the bolts with a mallet and punch to help to free the
assembly.
WARNING:
The three bolts should be renewed with every removal.
REMOVING THE STARTER MOTOR (WHERE FITTED)
1) Remove the three securing bolts (1) from the starter motor.
2) Remove the two rubber pegs that immobilise the motor on its
mounting.
3) Move the engine on the mounting guides to allow the starter
motor to be removed.
4) Refi t the two rubber pegs.

REMOVING THE GEARBOX OUTPUT SPROCKET

1) Remove the rubber ring (1) with a pair of pliers.
2) Remove the sprocket (2).
3) Remove the second rubber ring.
