REMOVAL

1) Remove the headlight housing assembly.
2) Remove the front mudguard.
3) Disconnect the headlight and the turn indicators.
4) Remove the two bolts from the brake calliper, and remove it
without disconnecting it.
5) Unscrew the speedometer cable from the speedometer take-
off.
6) Remove the guides from the fl exible hydraulic fl uid pipe and
the speedometer cable.
7) Remove the handlebars.
8) Remove the steering locknut (1).
9) Remove the two bolts (2) from the top T section.
10) Remove the forks top T section (3) with the instrument panel
and contact key switch.
11) Remove the front wheel.
12) Remove the steering bolt (4) with its washer (5).
13) Extract the forks bottom T section (6) and the two steering co-
lumn arms (7) (the forks are fi tted a little tightly onto the stee-
ring arm bearings).
14) Remove the washer (8) on the bottom T section.
DISMANTLING THE FORK ARMS
N.B.:
If the arms are being dismantled to change the seals, loo-
sen in order the securing bolts on the top T section and
the fork tube plugs.
1) Remove the headlight housing assembly.
2) Disconnect the headlight and the turn indicators.
3) Remove the brake calliper without disconnecting it.
4) Unscrew the speedometer cable from its drive.
5) Remove the guides from the fl exible hydraulic fl uid pipe and
the speedometer cable.
6) Remove the front wheel.
7) Remove the six bolts (1) on the top and bottom T sections.
8) Remove the fork arms.
