Removing The Air Fi Lter Box; Exhaust; Removal - MH RYZ 50 Cross Service Manual

REMOVING THE AIR FILTER BOX
1) Remove the seat – see "Removing the seat" in this section.
2) Remove the side fairings.
3) Remove the shock absorber – see "Removing the shock ab-
sorber" in this section.
4) Remove the two bottom securing bolts (1) on the skirting.
5) Remove the air intake connector (2) from the air fi lter box.
6) Remove the three securing bolts (3) from the air fi lter box.
7) Loosen the clamp on the hose from the air fi lter to the carbu-
rettor.
8) Remove the air fi lter box from the left-hand side of the machi-
ne.

EXHAUST

REMOVAL

N.B.:
The rear silencer can be removed on its own.
1) Remove the left-hand side fairing.
2) Unhook the two springs (1) from the exhaust pipe at the cylin-
der point.
3) Remove the securing bolt (2) on the fl exible support to the
chassis.
