Startup Page Does Not Print

Problem Description
If a startup page does not print when you power on the copier, this
indicates there is a problem either with copier operation or with
communications between the copier and the controller. However,
if the startup page does print but all the values are "none", this
could indicate that someone pressed the
key. Reboot the controller. If the values are still "none", contact
your TOSHIBA authorized dealer for support.
The following checklist helps you identify the source of the error
and directs to you where you can find more information about
resolving it. If the problem persists after you have followed all of
the steps, contact your TOSHIBA authorized dealer for further
assistance.

Problem Description
The first response many users have to seeing this error message
displayed on the copier's LCD touch screen is to restart the
controller. However, doing so can corrupt the GL-1020
controller's software or its hard disk. Often, the message simply
indicates unsynchronized communication between the copier and
the GL-1020, which is easy to resolve. Other times, the message
results from damaged hardware or corrupt software.
