This is an unvented gas-fired heater. It uses air (oxygen) from the room in which
installed. Provisions for adequate combustion and ventilation must be provided.

    Recommendations for Finishing of Clean View Linear Products When finishing the wall around the fireplace, it is critical that the wall covering be fastened properly. It is acceptable to pre-drill holes and use self-tapping screws which may be used to fasten a backer for tile, marble, etc. Screws being installed through non-combustible board should be self-tapping type with a maximum length of 2 inches.

Home owners weather strip and caulk around windows and doors to keep the cold air out and the warm air in.

When ventilating to an adjoining unconfined space, you must provide two permanent openings: one within 12” of the ceiling and one within 12” of the floor on the wall connecting the two spaces.

    During the first year after installation, we will provide a replacement for any component part of your unit found to be defective in materials or workmanship, including labour costs.
