Once you have decided which mode you want, set the mode as described
in see "Setting the Receive Mode," on page 7-5. You can change the mode
at any time.

Use this mode if the machine is connected to a separate telephone line
used only for transmitting faxes. The machine then answers all calls,
and receives all documents automatically.
Use this mode if you plan to connect an answering machine to the
machine to receive documens and telephone messages. The machine
then receives incoming faxes normally, and routes incoming
telephone calls to the answering machine.
