► Symptom
Tray 1 is nearly empty. / Tray 1 is empty.
► Troubleshooting method
1) Remove the tray1.
2) Check if paper is loaded. If it is empty, load the paper.
3) Check the connection between the empty sensor and on the main board. If necessary, install a new empty sensor.
4) Check that the empty sensor actuator moves freely and is not damaged. If necessary, install a new empty sensor
actuator assembly.
5) Check the connection between the tray1 lift motor and on the main board.
6) Check the tray1 lift motor operation. If necessary, replace the motor.
7) If necessary, replace the main board.
