User's Guide
Select the quality for copying. Selecting Best provides higher quality printing, but the printing speed
may be slower.
Document Orientation
Select the orientation of your original.
Binding Direction
Select the binding position of the originals.
Binding Margin
Select the binding position of the copies.
Expansion
With borderless copying, the image is enlarged a little to remove borders from the edges of the paper.
Select how much to enlarge the image.
Dry Time
Select the drying time for 2-sided copying. Increase the level of drying time when ink smears.
Clear All Settings
Resets the copy settings to their defaults.

Copying Photos

You can copy multiple photos at the same time. You can also restore the colors in faded photos.
Note:
❏ The smallest size of original you can copy is 30 × 40 mm.
❏ White space around the photo may not be detected.
1. Load paper in the printer.

❏ When loading in the paper cassette, make the paper settings on the control panel.
❏ When loading in the rear paper feed slot, do not load paper now. When you select the rear paper feed slot as
the paper source setting, and then press the
instructions to load the paper.
2. Select More Functions on the control panel.
3. Select Copy/Restore Photos.
4. Select whether or not to restore the colors in faded photos.
5. Place the photos on the scanner glass following the instructions displayed on the screen.

6. Press the
button.
The photos are scanned and displayed on the screen.
Copying
