Menu Options for Home NW Print Settings

Select the menus on the control panel as described below.
Setup > Home NW Print Settings
Make print settings for printing from an external device that is connected to a home network.

Menu Options for External Device Setup

Select the menus on the control panel as described below.
Setup > External Device Setup
Change the print settings to print directly from an external device such as a digital camera. For explanations on
each setting item, see the descriptions of the menu options for printing from the control panel.

Menu Options for Guide Functions

Select the menus on the control panel as described below.
Setup > Guide Functions
Paper Setting Alert
Displays a warning if the paper settings (print settings) for the print job do not match the printer's
paper settings made when you loaded the paper. This setting prevents misprinting. However, the paper
setting screen is not displayed when Paper Configuration is disables in the following menus.
Setup > Printer Setup > Paper Source Setting
Document Alert
Displays a warning when an original has been left on the scanner glass when the document cover is not
open even though copying and scanning using the control panel is complete.
Auto Selection Mode
When any of the following operations are performed, the menus appropriate to the operation are
displayed.
❏ A memory card is inserted.
❏ An original is placed on the scanner glass.
❏ An original is placed on the ADF.
