Media Type
TheMediaTypeparameterscontrolhowthelabelstopsensor(LSS)and
themediafeedwork.Therearefivemediatypeoptions:
·Label(wgaps)isusedforadhesivelabelsmountedonliner.
·Ticket(wmark)isusedforlabels,tickets,orcontinuousstockpro-
videdwithblackmarksattheback.
·Ticket(wgaps)isusedforticketsandtagswithdetectionslits.
·Fixlengthstripisusedforcontinuousstockwherethelengthoftheprint
windowdecidesthelengthofmediatobefedout.
·Varlengthstripisusedforcontinuousstock.Thesizeoftheprint
imagedecidesthelengthofeachcopy.
Itisimportanttoselectthecorrectmediatype,sotheprintercanindi-
catethefollowingerrors.
· Error1005"Outofpaper"indicatesthatthelastorderedcopycould
notbeprintedbecauseofanemptymediastock.
· Error1031"Nextlabelnotfound"indicatesthatthelastorderedlabel
orticketwassuccessfullyprinted,butnomorelabels/ticketscanbe
printedbecauseofanemptymediastock.
