12. Remove the screws securing the enclosure status assembly in the enclosure (1).
13. Remove the enclosure status assembly from the enclosure (2).

Reverse steps 1 through 13 to replace the enclosure status assembly.

DIMMs

Before removing or replacing a DIMM from a server blade:
1. Power down the server blade. See the "Powering Down a Server Blade" section in this
chapter.
2. Remove the server blade from the enclosure. See the "Removing a Server Blade from the
Enclosure" section in this chapter.
3. Place the server blade on a level, nonconductive surface.
To remove a DIMM:
1. Release the latches on each side of the DIMM slot 1 (1).
2. Remove the DIMM from the server blade (2).

CAUTION: Integrated Administrator security settings are assigned to server blade bays, not
to server blades. If server blades change locations within the enclosure, Integrated
Administrator settings must also be adjusted to ensure accurate security. Refer to the HP

settings.
