manufacturer d istribution c enters t hat a re f ranchised t o s ervice t he s ubject e ngines.
(6) T he o wner m ust n ot b e c harged f or d iagnostic l abor t hat l eads t o t he d etermination t hat a w arranted p art i s i n
fact defective, provided that such diagnostic work is performed at a warranty station.
(7) T he manufacturer is liable for damages to other engine components proximately caused by a failure under
warranty of any warranted part.
(8) T hroughout the emissions warranty period defined in Subsection (b)(2), the manufacturer must maintain a
supply o f w arranted p arts s ufficient t o m eet t he e xpected d emand f or s uch p arts.
(9) A ny r eplacement p art m ay b e u sed i n t he p erformance o f a ny w arranty m aintenance o r r epairs a nd m ust b e
provided w ithout c harge t o t he o wner. S uch u se w ill n ot r educe t he w arranty o bligations o f t he m anufacturer.
(10) A dd-­on o r m odified p arts t hat a re n ot e xempted b y t he A ir R esources B oard m ay n ot b e u sed. T he u se o f a ny
non-­exempted a dd-­on o r m odified p arts w ill b e g rounds f or d isallowing a w arranty c laim. T he m anufacturer w ill n ot
be l iable t o w arrant f ailures o f w arranted p arts c aused b y t he u se o f a n on-­exempted a dd-­on o r m odified p art.
