Release
the
chain
brake
by
pulling
the
hand
guard
(1) in
direction of arrow.
Fold
u p

t ensioner

illustration on tensioning the saw chain).
Push

s procket
g uard
q uick
t ensioner
i n
f orcefully
a gainst
the spring tension and slowly turn counter-clockwise, until
you
f eel
i t
e ngage.
K eep
p ushing,
a nd
t urn

f ar

p ossible
counter-clockwise.
Release
t he
s procket
g uard
q uick
t ensioner
a gain
a nd
t urn
clockwise
to
bring
it
back
to
its
original
position.
Repeat
this procedure until the sprocket guard (4) is unscrewed.
Remove the sprocket guard (4).
Put
the
guide
bar
(5) on and push it against the sprocket
(6).
Lift
t he
c hain
( 8) over the sprocket (7).
CAUTION:
Do not insert the chain between
t he
c hain
s procket
a nd
the
d isc.
Guide
the
chain
from
above
about
halfway
into
the
groove
(9)
o n
t he
g uide
b ar.
CAUTION:
Note that the cutting edges along the top of the chain must
point in the direction of the arrow!
