Refer to Figures.1–3 and the following descriptions to
become familiar with the basic controls and components
of this machine. Understanding these items and how they
work will help you understand the rest of the manual and
stay safe when operating this machine.
A.. ON/OFF.Switch:.Starts and stops the motor. The
switch can be disabled for safety by removing the
key.
Note: Paddle cover must be lifted to access ON
switch.
B. Handwheel.Locks: Lock blade height and angle
when tightened (one on each handwheel).
C. Blade.Height.Handwheel:.Adjusts blade height from
0"–3 ⁄ ".

D.. Blade.Tilt.Handwheel:.Adjusts angle of blade tilt
from 90°–45°.
E.. Fence.Lock:.Locks fence when pushed down, and
unlocks fence when pulled up.
